Class Description

Alona’s classes are special. Capitalising from the luxurious 5-star Westin hotel environment in Beijing’s Chaoyang district, the studio is conveniently located on the third ring road within close proximity to Sanlitun and the Liangmaqiao subway station, Alona provides everything you will need for the class – including mat, towel and equipment.
However, you will need to bring your own pair of clean socks to each class.
The quiet and clean studio provides the perfect environment for students to work their physical and emotional needs.
Classes are deliberately kept to a maximum of 14 students to ensure the instructor can offer individual attention to every student.

Weekend classes in particular fill up quickly, and reservations for these classes are highly recommended in advance.
While the classes are graded according to strength and fitness levels, this is set as a guide only, as students with different fitness levels will be encouraged to push themselves to varying levels without this interfering with the rest of the class.

Alona is conscious of the individual lifestyles of all her students – aware that work, family and other commitments can influence her students’ availability to attend Pilates classes. She encourages ALL her students, from stay-at-home mums to career professionals who travel regularly – to keep her in the loop with their challenging lifestyles so she can do everything possible in assisting them to attend the classes.
Alona prides herself on establishing individual relationships with all of her students, taking an interest in the health and lifestyle challenges of each of her students, Alona attempts to ensure everyone benefits from every Pilates session they undertake. She won’t hesitate to send out a reminder SMS to students who have been absent for longer than usual periods of time.

It is imperative that you notify Alona of ANY health issues so she can ensure prevention of injury as well as recommending other exercises to benefit existing ailments.
Classes have students of all ages and fitness levels. Men and women, business people and stay-at-home parents are all encouraged to try Pilates and see the great physical and emotional benefits this fantastic work out has to offer.
